Intricate, decorative details have always defined our Midas collection, drawing the eye in to discover the beautiful minutiae ingrained in the precious gold. The newest additions to the collection are as alluring in their details as ever, celebrating the tiny marks and forms that the hand can forge into gold to produce enduring wearable treasures.
The unique aesthetic of the collection is a fusion of influences from Ruth’s travels and fascination with India, combined with a sense of history and relic not amiss in a Renaissance still life painting. A rich colour palette of burnt orange and sun-bleached yellow sit alongside cool hues of peacock green, indigo and midnight blue, arousing imagined landscapes of faraway places from forgotten tales.
We took inspiration from the historical references of the collection for our latest photoshoot of the jewels. Drawing on themes from Dutch still life paintings and Renaissance imagery, we created our own bejewelled still life compositions to celebrate the new designs.
Like all of our jewellery, each piece is individually handcrafted in our London atelier from 100% recycled gold and responsibly sourced gemstones. All photography courtesy of Jack Cole
